A 9-year-old boy successfully led a campaign to overturn his hometown’s ban on snowball fights

For years, there was a technical ban on snowball fights in Severance, Colorado. But Dane Best, 9, wanted to change that. He led a campaign to challenge the ordinance, which prohibits throwing objects — including snowballs. The town backed his campaign. Snowball fights are allowed again.
