A Wall Street strategist says the next recession will be a lot like the 2001 collapse — here’s why that might not be such a bad thing

Investors are markedly more bearish than they were a year ago and are bracing for a recession as soon as next year.  According to Erik Ristuben, the global chief investment strategist at Russell Investments, the next recession will resemble the 2001 meltdown, which should actually be a relief to investors.
