The fire in Notre-Dame Cathedral is too high for firefighters to reach

CNN reported that the fire at the Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris is too high for firefighters to reach by boat or truck.  The fire broke out at about 6:50 p.m. local time on Monday and the cathedral’s spire collapsed about an hour later.  It remains unclear how the fire started, but police said it could be “potentially linked” the renovations in the building.  Visit INSIDER.com for more stories.
